Web design process

I will be there for you throughout the different stages of building your new website. No two projects are the same so I offer a fully bespoke service which will be tailored to your businesses requirements. I have detailed below the stages of the web development process:

Initial consultation

We will firstly discuss your vision and ensure we both understand what your project is all about. I always take the time to listen to your ideas, offer my professional insight, and address any concerns you may have. Following our conversation, I will create a comprehensive project proposal that outlines the scope, timeline and cost.

Design

I will create and send a proof of concept so you can visualise what your finished website will look like. I will focus on functionality as well as form, there is no point having a great looking website if it doesn't work as intended! You'll have the opportunity to provide feedback and suggest revisions, ensuring the design aligns with your expectations.

Development

Once you have signed off the design, I will begin developing your website and keep you updated on how it is progressing. I use the latest technologies and best practices to ensure your website is secure, scalable, and user-friendly. Throughout this stage, I will keep in contact to provide regular progress updates and address any issues that arise.

Deployment

Once the website is finished and we have made any changes necessary, I will deploy your website to a new or existing domain. As an optional extra, you may opt for your content to be uploaded to a Content Management System (CMS). This would allow you to amend the website at your own convenience.

Maintenance

You can opt to subscribe to the monthly maintenance package. This includes up to 3 hours pcm to implement any site updates. This includes basic styling changes, editing existing content and adding basic new content. Anything above the 3 hours or outside of the above will be charged at an hourly rate.
